Legacy Project
The Legacy Project is a train the trainer program, designed to teach Instructor Candidates the lifesaving technique of "self rescue" survival swimming lessons. The training is a minimum of 6 weeks, with a minimum of 40 hours "in water" (hands on) work with students. Classroom study will include psychology with a focus on child behavior, physiology and anatomy.
Instructor Candidate will receive a certification as an Aquatic Survival Specialist.
Ongoing support will be provided on a weekly basis for as long as necessary. Annual skills training and improvement options will be offered, but not required.
